In every generation on the island of Fennbirn, a set of triplets is born--three queens, all equal heirs to the crown and each possessor of a coveted magic. Mirabella is a fierce elemental, able to control storms or flames with the snap of her fingers. Katharine is a poisoner, able to ingest the deadliest poisons without harm. And Arsinoe, a naturalist, can control nature. But becoming the Queen Crowned isn't solely a matter of royal birth. Each sister has to fight for it. And it's not just a game of win or lose ... it's life or death. The night the sisters turn sixteen, the battle begins. The last queen standing gets the crown. --

Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans, but it also means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what that is, though, isn't easy. Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place and out of place at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side. As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make between honesty and deceit, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?

Loved it

I really loved these characters. It is kind of a slow beginning because you're having to learn three whole different sets of characters and locations and magic systems but once they all came together I thought that they came together beautifully.

Loved it

this book is a slow burning book it takes a while to get into but once you get into it you were into it I love the whole notion that women are ruling the world pretty much in this book and that they have there's these sisters that have to kill each other like that's such an interesting and intricate novel so I cannot wait for the next book to come out in this series because it is just addicting
