View all videosI just think this is a very imaginative and vivid series and the storytelling really suits the audio format for me. I love it.
I love survival stories so it was like just right up my alley. I was eating it up, it was great.
To me this was just high concept storytelling. The way that it explored that blew my mind. I loved it.
But if you wanted more out of like The 5th Wave, if you like stories like that, like zombie types stories, or alien invasion type stories, I think you will like it.
I thought it was a very powerful, moving, real story so it is one that stuck with me.
I was expecting something more fluff and it gave me more depth and it really impressed me and I thought it kind of left an impact on me and it was just - I got a lot out of it.
Graceling by Kristin Cashore was amazing as an audiobook because it has a full cast and it is a dramatized version. ... It was so well done.
I think that if you loved Throne of Glass but you want to diversify your reading there's going to be a lot of elements in this book as well that I think you will really like.
this is one that I would rate more than five stars if possible because this is a creepy story, it's very very creepy and the production quality uses sound effects and music to set the scene ... it just creeped me out so much!
when I read it I was like oh this is a concept I love! It's doing it for me! And I was geeking out so much while reading it. ... I really enjoyed it.
This was one of my early on favorites of the year, like as soon as I read it I really enjoyed it. I loved it. I think it was great.
I also really loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This was just a great story.
Sadie by Courtney Summers, which is narrated by Rebecca Soler and a full cast was incredible. One of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to.
when I started listening to it I was like, 'but Seanan McGuire does a great job too.' So like they're both totally fantastic.
Both of these audiobooks are narrated by a full cast, like it's a very large list of voice actors that work on these books. It's very well acted in my opinion. I love having the different narrators for each character.
The reason that this one is getting top spot is because of the narration. This series has a very large cast of characters and yet the audiobooks have a single narrator and I have never listened to an audiobook with one narrator who has done such an amazing job at voicing all of the characters in such distinct voices to the point like I never question who is talking.

Cynthia Hopkins I thought did a wonderful job. Her voicing just like really suited the tone and the setting of that first book.
I think that this book was amazing overall, story wise and characterwise, and it very narrowly missed making my favorite books in general of the year but the audiobook is definitely something that stood out to me because the narrator just really brought these characters to life.
He did such an amazing job with this audiobook. The thing that really made it to me is that the main character was written with such a distinct personality and such a sense of humor and the narrator Christian Colson really really brings that out.
Some people love it, some people hate it, they think that the representation of the suicide and you know how everything came to play is a little bit problematic and I can totally see that but I do want to say that the reason this is on my list is because of the format. Both of the narrators did a great job at bringing their characters to life.
She gets very caught up in descriptions and Never Fade just started out in a new place and I didn't really understand how we had gotten here. I just didn't enjoy it at all and decided that I wasn't invested in this series or these characters anymore and I just don't care to continue the series so that was the other book that I DNFed this year.
In the book Famous In Love, which I did enjoy, it refers to a fictional book in their world which the characters in Famous In Love are adapting a movie of this book called Locked so Rebecca Serle came out with the novella called Locked which is supposed to be that book in their world.
