I read Vicious, The Archived, and A Darker Shade of Magic, so I have experienced 3 different, unique worlds that she writes in and I love her writing.

I was very surprised with how much I liked them because I felt like I was so intimidated to even start this series. I felt like the writing was a lot easier flowing than I expected, the story was rich just like I wanted.
my favorite two were the first book and the third book, A Storm of Swords. I was very surprised with how much I liked them because I felt like I was so intimidated to even start this series.
It does kind of push my comfort zone of some of the moral gray areas in the book but I also really enjoyed that about it, that it was kind of a challenge to determine what did I think was right? ... it's actually very thought provoking and that's one of the reasons it is on my list.
I did give this one 5 stars. It's a YA fantasy. For me personally it was worth the hype and I can't wait for the sequel and to read more things by Sabaa Tahir.
I just thought it was a wonderful, very touching, deep and intimate story. It was the first book I read this year and it still has stuck with me to the end of the year so I definitely would highly recommend that one.
I was just really surprised by this book. It - I had no idea what to expect and I just soaked it in. It was a non-stop thrill ride.
I did not like this book as its own story, and I did not like this book as a retelling. It just didn't work for me.
I gave this book 2 stars... the feeling that I feel when I think about this book is how disappointed I was in the portrayal of depression.
I love sci-fi set in space, I love books that explore artificial intelligence, and I love apocalypse type stories and that's all happening in this book. And it's told in such a unique and engaging format...
I did not like this book because it was too much. Too unique. It was a try-hard book.
It was a wonderful, helpful book to me so I had to mention it in my best of the year list.
It was just a really funny and fun, entertaining good time.
I have loved every installment of the series and I feel like it just keeps getting better and better... so this was my favorite YA book of the year.
I loved that this was a mixture of a futuristic setting but also kind of a past setting because you had so many of the 80s references. It was just a great book to nerd out to.
As a mystery this was way too obvious. This was so full of tropes and cliches... I just felt like it was not a well written book.
I absolutely hated the book Slammed by Colleen Hoover... I enjoyed nothing about this story.
I read Vicious, The Archived, and A Darker Shade of Magic, so I have experienced 3 different, unique worlds that she writes in and I love her writing.
I have not been so moved by a book as I was with The Martian... Every emotion that you can feel in a book, I felt it in this one.
This is an adult story about superheroes and I just love the way that this challenges our stereotypes of what it a villain? What is a hero? What are the morals of having superpowers?
There are so many amazing qualities about this book. It defied gender stereotypes, it made me think, and at its heart it was a survival story... I absolutely loved it.
I really enjoyed it as a finale. As always, I love these characters and this world and the way that these stories are retold, so it did deserve a spot.
