This book is set on Halloween. Read it. It is my favorite Alice Feny book. I have read a lot of her books. This one is very atmospheric. The ending of this is somewhat predictable, but I really enjoyed it for the atmospheric vibes.

View all videosI adore this one, especially this time of year. Everybody is horrible in this book... but you could not stop reading. The ending chef's kiss, an amazing who done it and you unreliable characters. Highly recommend.
This one is my favorite of his. This is a haunted house one, too, which is perfect for this time of year, obviously. The ending again, Chef's Kiss. My favorite of his.
This horror book made me cry and also made me very afraid, which is a very odd combination, honestly. I fell in the camp of I was obsessed with it. I love this one.
It's also based on kind of Agatha Christiey's And then there were none, which is a classic for a reason.
This book I loved. I have read several of Samantha Downing's books since then. Nothing comes close to this one. This book will keep you guessing. It's full of unreliable characters. I loved and adored it. Highly recommend it.
This one just somehow was the exception and I loved it. The ending of this one had me floored. I could not believe I didn't see it coming and it was so well done. Goodness me, I ate this one up. My only five star of Lucy Foley.
Rachel Harrison is a horror staple for me... my favorite is Black Sheep, and that is not popular opinion. So this book is insane... I loved it.
I love this one. This does not get talked about enough. I ate it up. And oh my gosh, this book is scary as hell... Oh my gosh, I love this one. Not enough people talk about it.
This one by far is just my favorite. I love this book. Simone St. James does a great job with all of her books, weaving in these paranormal aspects that are just amazing. This one is my favorite of hers.
I didn't love her last one Fake Skating which I think is getting an adaptation next year if I'm not mistaken.
I did finish Trust Fall by Lynn Painter last night and my four to five still stands. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was really cute.
So, I did finish this morning Sometimes I Scare Myself by Geneva Rose. So, overall, I would give this book a four, like overarching four out of five. I think this is definitely a great book to read honestly in October, spooky season.
Last night I did finish Die by the End of the World by Kelly Armstrong. And overall, I think I would give it a four out of five. I really enjoyed it, honestly. It was very suspenseful.
As promised yesterday, I did finish Fan Service. I would give this book a three and a half out of five. It's definitely more campy and fun than I would say like really romance. That's one thing I didn't really 100% buy on, is the romance between Alex and Devon.
This is by far the spookiest haunted house book I read. Like, I read this book and I was like, "Oh my gosh, like this is intense."
This competition is bloody as mess, but I love this one. If you're looking for a dark romance that's not really dark, but has a haunted house element, I would definitely check this one out.
It's a fun one. Not enough people talk about it. I loved it. Would highly recommend it.
It's not my favorite haunted house book, but it's a good one. I would recommend this for spooky paranormal season. It starts off kind of YA going into adults and I did want more haunted house aspects, but this house was creepy as mess.
There's also Just Like Home by Sarah Gailey, but I haven't remembered much about that book to be honest with you, so I don't know if I could recommend it.
She burst out onto the scene last year with If It Makes You Happy and an autumnal dream and I loved it.
There have been a lot of hers I don't like. I did not like So Thirsty.
She released the book The Heartbreak Hotel... And I liked that book. I didn't love it.
I didn't really love her release last year either, Play Nice.
