Dune

I've got two copies of Dune

I've only read the first one and what I read I really liked I think I gave it a 4 out of five

after reading and loving Dune last year I thought it was imperative for me to pick up some more science fantasy especially adding some diversity

i held that it is a masterpiece beyond earthly knowing

the reason it's number 15 is as excellent as it is and as much as I like it I don't I get this feeling from books that I truly love where it just lingers and lingers and lingers and lingers and dune does not quite linger

On the other hand is 'Dune', which sucks. In my opinion. It's a long story and it's very boring. I think the characters are one dimensional. It's all about spice and yet has none.

it's one of those books that just kind of gets better and better the longer it's been since you read it and the more you thought about it

I was so surprised when I picked it up because it reads very modern. The pacing in that one is a little a little all over the place.
