I really agree with what ARF King is trying to say I just think it there was no Nuance at all to the writing. It wasn't a book for me unfortunately there were some really good moments.

Berserk, Volume 13Unknown
Not a fan

13 is the ending of the eclipse it's heartbreaking now there are parts of this that I think are not handled in the best way at all very uncomfortable viewing reading. I wasn't a big fan of it.

Blood SongAnthony Ryan
Loved it

Blood song by Anthony Ryan is has always been one of my favorite fantasy books. When I read it I absolutely loved it. It's still a very solid fantasy book.

I could see why people's enjoyment of this series starts to go downhill especially with Children of Dune it was it's a bit weird isn't it. There were some sections I definitely enjoyed there were some sections that wasn't the big fan.

I enjoyed cold West because I love a western and I also love fantasy so kind of mixing those two together it's a book I guess written for me. The only thing that holds me back with this book is that the first 60 Pages or so are copied from Unforgiven.

Dark FrontierMatthew Harffy
Loved it

I really got a lot out of it. He's one of the most reliable authors that I've ever read. I know that I'm going to get really interesting characters iconic dialogue.

It's incredibly bloody at times incredibly beautiful and it's it's a remarkable landscape of History really. The thing that holds me back with this book you know rather than putting it into the upper tear would be that there's a distinct lack of emotional connection with the main characters.

Dead AcreUnknown
Loved it

Dead acre is a western fantas Fantastical book. Roger Clark Arthur Morgan himself narrated this book and his delivery was fantastic. Dead a was a lot of fun.

This is a very uncomfortable read. I didn't connect to it though on an emotional level. For me it just didn't hit those beats of what I really want in a book.

Dune MessiahFrank Herbert
Loved it

I really enjoyed it there were parts that I thought do I you know do you really need to include this. But then by the end you know the ending was hot enough to melt Stone.

Fifth SunCamilla Townsend
Mixed

What I really like is that town Zen filled this book with personal indigenous voices. But it was rather disorganized and slightly dry at times.

FlashmanGeorge MacDonald Fraser
Not a fan

The writing is great the quippy pros is really fascinating and really fun to read but the character of Flashman I you just cannot stand him. I just detested him so I don't really want to read any more about him.

Gates of fireSteven Pressfield
Loved it

Do I prefer the science of the girls over Gates of Fire it's a tough one they're so different military historical fiction that's groundbreaking or Greek mythological retelling focused on braas.

GodkillerHannah Kaner
Loved it

God Killer by Hannah Kana is a fantastic premise. The ending I think was superb. Definitely a series I want to continue.

Horus RisingUnknown
Loved it

Horus Rising it definitely gave it to me. It's a lot more than that it's very philosophical it's very intriguing there's politics. I really enjoyed it.

I felt like there should have been a book between Empire of silence and Howling dark. I'd like to continue the series I need to reread in dark cuz I was in a book slump at the time.

Jade CityFonda Lee
Loved it

It's this fantastic fantasy book. To see it in a fantasy world I'm not a big fan of urban fantasy but this book has made me a fan.

Mistborn TrilogyBrandon Sanderson
Not a fan

On paper it's got all those things that I should love. But the characters to me are very Bland the writing is kind of paint by numbers for me. It just completely takes me out of the story.

On one hand we have a really fascinating heart-wrenching Story full of really rich and poignant themes and the writing is just picturesque it's beautiful and on the other times it feels a bit like a checklist.

PiranesiSusanna Clarke
Loved it

This is a very Whimsical Charming book Susanna Clark's Pros is so smooth. I really enjoyed pazi I wouldn't say that I fell in love with it.

Project Hail MaryAndy Weir
Not a fan

The novelty of the plot of the concept wore off pretty quickly I wasn't a big fan of the characters. The writing voice it's it was like picking out a scab.

RavenheartDavid Gemmell
Loved it

Raven har by David gaml it's an Incredible Book. Raven Hart book three is just mesmerizing. The end is better the ending is in insane.

ScytheNeal Shusterman
Not a fan

The concept brilliant I didn't jail with the writing I thought the romance was just crazy silly. I won't be continuing sythe.

Storm CrowBen Kane
Not a fan

It tries to shoehorn a lot of stuff a lot of unnecessary things into it. The dialogue didn't feel imersive. It just felt very contemporary.

StormriderDavid Gemmell
Loved it

It definitely it's not the best gaml book but as the ending of the rante it's it's got that Bittersweet feeling there are some wonderful moments here.

The handmaid's tale by Margaret Atwood is a an incredibly scary dystopian novel that is a classic for a reason. Margaret outward what a fantastic writer really incredible delivery.

The King Must DieMary Renault
Loved it

Mary Reno is I would say that she invented the Greek mythological retelling. The king must die is the story of Theus and the minor at nosos. People should read Mary Reynold.

The RevenantMichael Punke
Not a fan

I'm not a big fan of Michael Punk's writing unfortunately. There's no sense of drive or excitement really. It just didn't really sink its teeth into me.

The RoadCormac McCarthy
Loved it

This is a fantastic Edition that I would probably put up here. If you want to see the artwork of the road in just that post-apocalyptic dreary gray world then buy this book.

The UnbrokenC.L. Clark
Loved it

It unap unapologetically takes on the foundations of Empire and colonialism and just some fascinating Concepts. I really loved it.

When I first read it I fell in love with it was like this perfect blending of Red Rising most importantly Golden Sun meets maybe blood song by Anthony Ryan. It's crafted brilliantly.

Wandering StarsTommy Orange

Wondering stars is good it's not quite to that level of there. Wandering Stars it does a really good job of taking what made there good and continuing that.

Wolf HallHilary Mantel
Not a fan

Chapter one of Wolf Hall is one of the best chapters I've ever read. Then I read chapter 2 and I quickly realized it wasn't. I'm very upset to be saying that I didn't like it.
