this is a book that I feel that everyone no matter what your background or upbringing or whatever should read this is so thought-provoking

Nabokov writing style is just beautiful ... this is definitely one of my favorite books of all and my reading experience of it was just absolutely perfect

I'd never read anything like this before and you know if you're reading about mental hospitals back in the day it's just pretty much horrific

this book basically destroyed me when I read it really did one over on my mind ... it's a book that I really love and I'm so glad that I read it

I didn't really appreciate the story that it was trying to tell ... over time I really kind of reminisce about this and realize like yeah I actually did really enjoy that

overall this was just a really enjoyable novel like I had no idea what to expect from it ... if you're someone who's looking to get into a horror or if you're into mystery this is definitely one you should read
