it's just absolutely gorgeous honestly I would have loved a whole series set in this world but one book is enough it is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it

it's quite cozy it's soft I wouldn't consider it like high action fastpaced by any means it's much more about the World building and the community and her adjusting to this new role

it is one of those books that has a very simple PR but which has a ton of impact within that like small insular again quite like restricted setting

it is such a rich book it's a love story it's a story of like quietly fighting back it's a story of self-discovery the writing is stunning I cannot recommend this book more highly

this book is a ton of fun it's like a romantic comedy set in the Regency Era and along the way they fall in love and it's a ton of fun

I really love the way that it uses mythology to like sort of like self-reflect like I think that's something that a lot of us actually do in real life and I think it's done really well here

this is one of the most emotional horror books I've ever read it's very introspective and it's sad and it has you doubting what you're reading

her writing is very dark it's quite visceral and there's a lot I love about her writing

it is such a stunning book is so interesting and I think within the apocalyptic horror it has so much like creative commentary on our world

it features what I would consider an unreliable narrator but specifically our narrator is in a coma that's the premise

it's a really compelling novel that's beautifully written and if you haven't checked it out yet even though it's been talked about non-stop since it came out I would recommend going and checking it out

it is so much fun like if you're in to the gothic sub genre and you like want to see these worlds mesh together and read about like strong feisty women in the Victorian era solving crimes and taking down secrets ities then this is so much fun
