The Long Price Quartet (2018)

one of the things that I absolutely love about Daniel Abraham's work is his character work is like no author I have ever read before. These characters are so organic, you almost forget that you're reading fiction.

It is four books and it is non-epic fantasy, but it's non-epic fantasy with a level of world building and especially of culture that is just as good as the big epic tomes that we're used to reading in this genre.

Beautiful character fantasy. All of the words in here are incredibly intentional. Everything's planned out across these characters' lives.

I read this like a week ago and I'm I had to go see it blew my hair back so hard I had to go see a stylist and get a correction.
