Great just political fantasy on another world that's kind of Asian inspired. We've got Mara who has lost her entire family due to the events of the Rift War and she's kind of pulled out, right?

Regante is a masterclass. And I honestly think that this is the book, if not the book series that inspired The Faithful and the Fallen by John Gwyn.

I fell in love. The characters were phenomenal.
What we go through and what we discover and what's revealed about the culture and the living and just the way that the society worked in Japan in the 1600s is phenomenal. I loved this book.
I am constantly fighting the urge to just drop whatever I'm doing and do a Superpowers reread because Superpowers is fantastic. It's one of those series that lives in my soul.
The Eye of the World for me, I don't know. It just other than like a tiny little section that deals with Naive and Lean towards the end of the book where I'm like, where did that come from? , this book is borderline flawless for me.
I still think The GOAT is the green mile. Like, it's just so incredibly good. Experiencing Great Depression era, Death Row, John Coffee, all of the stories in here.
This book I recently reread it I think like two years ago and it blew my socks away. I hadn't read it in like 10 to 15 years and it just held up.
