Lord of the Shattered Land (2023)

This book is a sword and sorcery masterpiece with just a healthy sprinkling of horror done incredibly well. In fact, cosmic horror done incredibly well. I loved this one.

This was another book that really surprised me in how much I enjoyed it. I'm not typically the biggest classic fantasy fan. I have very specific tastes when it comes to that subgenre of fantasy and this book was such a refreshing surprise.
