Tier Ranking All The Books I've Read in 2023

that one goes into the S tier immediately it has made me reconsider so many things about my own writing craft and really challenged me as a writer and reader

I really liked the writing style of this book and a lot of the things that the like the world that PL was creating but the main character was very difficult to read

the artwork in these is beautiful it's the predecessor to a Netflix TV show Alice in Borderland that I absolutely loved last year but man the sexual objectification of the female characters in the Manga version really disappointed me and was very frustrating

it's a dragon rider fantasy why a definitely an awesome read for people who like Dragon Rider bonds with cool magic systems this one I'm gonna put it in had a good time

I really liked a lot of this book and I think that Katie's writing she does such beautiful colorful vivid descriptions of things ... there were definitely like I had some moments where the plot felt a little bit slow-ish I think in a few spots but overall I would say that I had a really good time with it

Oh My Gosh okay I quit we're done where am I gonna put this It's tier for sure this is a historical fiction it's gonna be in my top 10 reads of the year

I absolutely loved this book and I am still thinking about it ... it is fantastic has one of my favorite Fantasy character arcs I have read in a hot minute

I really liked the narrative voice and style I liked the character ... there was a lot of very rushed plot elements that just kind of came out of nowhere and it was very jarring

this is another one that I wanted to love this one a lot more than I actually did and I think again it was it was kind of a there was kind of a muddy plot and the characters were difficult for me to engage with through most of the book

I really didn't love it I think I think we're gonna put it in not a fan because I just it was so underwhelming

I absolutely love what is the magic of this book for me is the relationship between Papa jove or Joven ... and then his adopted son Leaf ... I think I'm gonna put it there for now

Katie's writing is beautiful and like the vibrancy of her World building just steps up 110 in this book ... there were some things in the story that still felt a little bit underdeveloped but man like Beautiful Romance awesome animal companion

this book drove me bonkers I'm not gonna lie historical fiction from the point of Lancelot Guinevere was a horrible awful character there were so many like plot contrivances that drove me a bit nuts ... the writing is very good

I'm gonna put it in category C it was okay I was very disappointed in it ... I was in the camp of people that really didn't love the final book of the first law trilogy

I really loved the world building I really liked the general idea of it concept of it but the main character fell really flat for me

fantastic fantasy classic oh my goodness has this book aged pretty darn well ... an excellent military fantasy book it's amazing loved it

nobody likes a goblin it's adorable and it's wonderful and I love it so much

this is a novella it's like 110 pages I think I'm gonna put this one at the top of B I had a really good time with it ... a lot of very deep and thought-provoking themes

I loved the first half of this book like I absolutely loved it would have been in a tier without any hesitation but the second half took a major turn that I wasn't loving

this Series has one of the most solid first-person narration reading experiences I think I've had ever ... the second book I actually didn't love as much as I liked the first book which was kind of sad

this is an indie fantasy that is split into four parts and I really loved it's so good Grimm's Fairy Tales meets like Miyazaki films wonderful awesomeness

this one 1200 freaking Pages you guys I read the whole darn thing and it's incredible that one's definitely going into s tier

the artwork is incredible it's absolutely beautiful I just have kind of decided that the it's just not for me ... the second volume I liked less than I liked the first one

it is wusha a Asian martial arts inspired fantasticness ... I love it you've heard me gush about this on my channel so many times

this one I didn't like excuse me as much as The Outsiders ... I think my average rating on Goodreads is like a 3.8 right now

I think we're gonna put it in had a good time towards the top it's the honestly mostly for the writing and the characterization ... still definitely had some major issues with it

it is fantastic it is so good ... I absolutely love this book I definitely will be reading it again

I think we're gonna put it in B Because I had a really good time with it ... I really liked some of the reveals at the end

it is straight military battle with dragons from like start to finish ... it's very good I really liked it ... excellent combat writing

this one is tough to rank just because it has so many points for nostalgia ... this is one of my favorite storylines in any cartoon or Animated Series

I honestly do not know if I could tell you which of these two books I like better ... I think we're gonna put a betrayal in Winter ahead of a shadow in summer because I like there's a female character that shows up in the second book that I absolutely love

I think I'm going to put at the bottom of s tier because I really liked this book a lot it's gonna definitely be in the in the running for top 10 of the year

it's School master who goes to a kind of a backwoods school where most of the school Masters get run out and gets involved in a crime scandal I mean it was fine like I read it exists

another really good solid Indie read ... I think it's a solid it's in a category it's somewhere between here and the top of B

this is definitely going in loved it ... Oliver Twist meets Howl's Moving Castle is the really quick pitch for that if you haven't you should absolutely read it's phenomenal

I didn't have as good of a time there's the sentence structure I was looking for as I was hoping to so I think I'm going to put it down there

this one is a Sci-Fi very cool World building lots of really interesting races had a really good time ... definitely am going to finish the trilogy

this is a historical fiction Lone Wolf and Cub sort of style story that is a murder mystery ... this was really good I really had a good time with it
