I had the most fun with this I am a huge sucker for all things Arthurian and I thought the little Shades he had of some of T White's Once and Future King moments not only from the book but from Arthurian movies that we have seen he just had such wonderful Easter eggs and callbacks to not only that but Lord of the Rings when he said about his quest to create an Epic Fantasy adhering to his own rules
if you have not looked into this wonderful kind of Nar Noir detective look at the urban fantasy genre it is so much fun it is just a blast from the past and the writing style as far as that hard booil detective firsters narration and then just wild cases from everything that goes bump in the night and it is a great deal of fun to go on this multi-book journey with Harry Dresden
