We Are The Dead (2019)

Number nine for me is a series that is so dark, but it has hope and characters you love at the center of a world where everything else feels grim dark. And that is We Are the Dead by Mike Shackle.

This Look, this goes straight for the throat. This is a story about an occupation. It is a story about a war.

This book, when I read it a couple of years ago, absolutely blew my hat off when it came to just the intensity and the way that the tension of this story was instantaneous.
