I am fond of an end of the world tale and I thought this was a pretty good one. I give Alas Babylon 8 out of 10. It's a stellar splendor.

I enjoyed America City. I give it 8 out of 10. It's a stellar splendor.
I really loved it. I give Ash Secret History 10 out of 10. It's another galactic gem.
I enjoyed their Church of Light elements, they're amusingly lunatic and very sinister, and I thought Brill was a pretty good character, too. ... I give Dark Sheperd a perfectly fine 7 out of 10 is a planetary pleasure.
I did find it pretty hardgoing, but mostly, I must say in a good and interestingly Barack way. I give Dead Girls 8 out of 10 is a stellar splendor.
There's some pretty good scenes. ... it was fun, but you know, nothing mind-blowing. I give Pogwin's Comet 7 out of 10 is a planetary pleasure.
Rogue Moon is a meditation on death, on the nature of death, the fear of death, the accepting of the inevitability of it, and the impacts of those left behind and the deathbed regrets of those passing, which is all very well, but damn it, I was expecting a deathdeying ripping yarn about exploring a deadly labyrinth, and that's not what I got. So somewhat grumpily perhaps I give Rogue Moon 6 out of 10 is a nebulous narrative.
I thought that there were some very interesting aspects to Rose Water. I enjoyed the Nigeria setting. ... I give Rose Water 7 out of 10.
The literal sun eating happened as promised on page one of the first book and you know honestly it was a bit of an anti-limax. So I think it was over long in my humble opinion a lot like Disquite Gods. but still there was a lot to enjoy.
The Glamour ended up being one of my top three reads of 2025, and it's really wonderful stuff, and I thoroughly recommend it. I give The Glamour 10 out of 10.
But as a neutral reader with none of those misgivings, I had fun reading this. I give Yellow Booty 8 out of 10. It's a stellar splender.
