Earth Abides comes close to this warped paradise. It's cozy enough, but there's always a feeling of tension. This could go very wrong very quickly.

I Am Legend is full of piss-taking vampires or zombies or zampires and Will Smith.

The problem with my other post-apocalyptic, dark fantasy inspirations is that there's always something negative about the end of the world. The Road has nothing to eat, no sunshine, really bad shoes, and cannibals.
