I have dipped into it from time to time. I will say I have not read it fully. I do not reach for it. It do be dry and I do just prefer a visual for this rather than sitting and reading it.

A Monster CallsPatrick Ness
Neutral

I have read The Monster Calls. Well, a monster calls sad tragic book equally. I think I no longer have it, but I did read it. It's also about mental health.

Alice in WonderlandLewis Carroll
Not a fan

Alice in Wonderland by Louis Carol because believe it or not I did read it. I did read it. This has now become one of my cornerstones of comparing a book to something that I know I won't like. So if someone says like, Oh, this is a bit like Alice in Wonderland. Red flag.

CinderMarissa Meyer
Loved it

Okay, so I have finished Cinder. I really enjoyed it actually. Very fast-paced. It was sorely needed in my reading life.

I tried this one. It's supposed to be about schizophrenia if I remember right, but I did not enjoy tonally, so I have actually DNFed this one and I no longer have it.

Mixed

Monstrous did read. So, I'm going to put it down to read. The artwork is gorgeous. Honestly, one of the most beautiful ones, but the plotline was a mess.

The Psychopath TestJon Ronson

It kind of lacked a clear direction. It is a little bit jumbled. I think the point is very muddled. It's more so entertainment than anything else. I'm going to DNF this at 200 pages.

It's filled with such amazing dialogue dynamics that it really never felt slow despite genuinely very few things happening, which I think is such a tell for how masterful the writing style was. It was good. It's a 4.5 for me.
