It was one that was so good that as soon as I finished reading it and got to the end and saw everything piece together and what was really happening, I wanted to immediately start rereading the series. That's how good it is.

Everything that this author manages to do in this trilogy, the world building is just exceptional. The characters are to die for. The plot unique.
I love this trilogy, don't get me wrong. The Red Rising saga is a favorite. It's on the list, obviously, but I didn't enjoy it more than my previous four.
I love this book so much that when I wrote the review and put it on Amazon I saw that the second book was already written and it was on Kindle unlimited I immediately downloaded it and started it right then

I love the author took a different approach to writing this one if he had written it the same way the first one was written I think the story the trilogy would have lost a little bit of its magic it's definitely a level up on the slasher element in this one

it is just a wild tale a wild tale because you know that there's something else here you're just not certain what it is it's so good
nightfall i have had a lot of people react to it like they did with the gunslinger but if you just keep going and it gets explained better in the subsequent books just like with the dark tower you're going to be in love
sleepwalking also introduces a frightening terror that is definitely hindering and affecting our character's quest
