it is technically one of those like queer doomed narrative dark Academia esque books like similar to the secret history but also nothing at all like that.

View all videosthe synopsis really reminded me a lot of cloud cucko Land by Anthony door maybe you've heard of it was one of my favorite books in 2021 and to this day I have not reread it but it's just profoundly moving profoundly moving literature.
I liked this installment more than that monsters installment just because the sheer joy that I felt from Reading fence volume six I cannot express to you the feelings that I had.
I think if I had to compare it to a book I would say this is like it's like a little life if you've read a little life you will maybe understand where I'm coming from.
number 15 is going to be not in love they're kind of interchangeable I could do either or but I think I like not in love more simply because I connected with this way too much.
love theoretically this is a book that I read in one sitting I was on the plane to San Francisco it was early as and I was told by a friend I was told by somebody that this book would hit for me and I can't say that I expected to love it as much as I did but it changed everything honestly.
I loved love on the brain I don't really remember what it's about now that I think about it I know it's about NASA and Marie cury and it's kind of the same as all of her other books but I just like had a lot of fun.
this is like if Queen's Gambit was like a fluffy silly teenage romcom and it's unrealistic.
number 16 on our list is check and mate this is her ya book and her first ya book and it is about Chess essentially this is kind of like this is like if Queen's Gambit was like a fluffy silly teenage romcom.
the love hypothesis need I say more I remember when this came out and when book two when book talk got a hold of it and everybody was like oh my God it's Rao fanfic this is terrible and like not to not to be annoying not to be cringe I don't care I had fun and that's really all that matters to me.
the sunshine court is the surprise new series from noris sakovic who wrote All for the game the foxo court if you will this book I've read it three times I read it three times in 2024 and it came out in April.
this is the Ted lasso fanfiction the gay Ted lasso fanfiction it's about these two soccer players who fall in love and it is grumpy sunshine and it is essentially like if Roy Kent and Jamie from Ted lasso fell in love.
this is the fourth one which is objectively my favorite because I think it was the one that touched me the most personally this follows our main guy Axel who is autistic and he's I think 30ish and he ends up pitching that the family friend Rooney become his wife.
the second book dark air this is one of the most insane ya sequels I have ever read because it doesn't really feel like ya.
the first book was decent it was a solid like three and a half star read and I was compelled enough to read the second book the first book was kind of average to me.
I read filthy animal and real life as well as this one but this book I think I like how unique it is you know I think real life did a great job of being like one POV one full complete like campus novel.
the next book on my list is the late Americans by Brandon Taylor I was really interested in Reading Brandon Taylor this year because I've been meaning to read his debut real life since it came out in 2020.
the book I want to talk about briefly is the house of always this is my favorite book from this series that I read this year I think it's incredible.
it's called the expert of subtle revisions by Kristen manger Anderson I don't even know how to explain it to you based on the synopsis the things that I knew going into it I knew that it was about time travel and Wikipedia and 1930s Vienna.
it is called it was vulgar and it was beautiful by Jack Lowry this book I think everybody should read it I definitely think that if you are a queer or an artist Andor an artist it's like required reading.
these violent Delights by Micah n ne this is aook book that I've seen around and so it's been on my TBR for a couple of years now this book changed me.
compound fracture is a really interesting ya book because it is contemporary but it feels kind of old school and it kind of feels like it's like a supernatural paranormal book but it is technically I think a contemporary.
actually refusing compulsory sexuality a black asexual lens on our sex obsessed Culture by shironda J Brown this book came out in 2022 and as you can tell it's about asexuality and it's written by a black author.
what I want to talk about by Pete wary and I was profoundly Changed by reading this book this is a really interesting non-fiction book because the whole premise of it is that Pete wary is autistic and nobody ever lets him talk about the things that he wants to talk about.
