I did reread Book Lovers this year and I had been a little harsh on it when I first read it I still have my critiques it's still a four-star read for me my least favorite of hers.
captive Prince is a series that came out in the 2010s and it got a lot of flak on book and on the internet because book one the premise of the story is that we have a prince named Damon who is sold into sex slavery to this other prince laurant and they eventually fall in love.
number 16 on our list is check and mate this is her ya book and her first ya book and it is about Chess essentially this is kind of like this is like if Queen's Gambit was like a fluffy silly teenage romcom.
compound fracture is a really interesting ya book because it is contemporary but it feels kind of old school and it kind of feels like it's like a supernatural paranormal book but it is technically I think a contemporary.
the second book dark air this is one of the most insane ya sequels I have ever read because it doesn't really feel like ya.
the first book was decent it was a solid like three and a half star read and I was compelled enough to read the second book the first book was kind of average to me.
I read it back in March and quite frankly it changed my life it changed so many things for me it is called Divergent Mind by janera narur and this is an Autism book.
it's called don't let the forest in by CG Wells if you've seen the cover maybe you know what it's about the reason I picked it up specifically is because it has asexual rep and also it's dark Academia so we stay winning.

it's called Henry by Alan Braden and I did talk about this in another video when I was in the middle of reading it and guys I just want to say this is one of the most up books I've ever read.
the book I'm talking about is inverse cowgirl by Alicia Roth wigle it's a interex book and so it talks a lot about Alicia's experience growing up in her sex and not necessarily knowing she was in her sex.
it is called it was vulgar and it was beautiful by Jack Lowry this book I think everybody should read it I definitely think that if you are a queer or an artist Andor an artist it's like required reading.
the next book on my list is the late Americans by Brandon Taylor I was really interested in Reading Brandon Taylor this year because I've been meaning to read his debut real life since it came out in 2020.
love theoretically this is a book that I read in one sitting I was on the plane to San Francisco it was early as and I was told by a friend I was told by somebody that this book would hit for me and I can't say that I expected to love it as much as I did but it changed everything honestly.
I loved love on the brain I don't really remember what it's about now that I think about it I know it's about NASA and Marie cury and it's kind of the same as all of her other books but I just like had a lot of fun.
I read masters of death on the plane and I have to tell you guys I was kind of afraid of this book because the premise that they put out there for the general public is not what I want to read.
I did catch up and read volume seven and8 which I've been meaning to read for years now I love monstrous it is my favorite comic book series.
Network effect by Martha Wells and this is book five in the murderbot Diaries I have heard nothing but good things about murder bought Diaries all over the summer I finally committed at the end of the year to just like binge the whole thing and I have got to say it is it is everything that everybody said.
number 15 is going to be not in love they're kind of interchangeable I could do either or but I think I like not in love more simply because I connected with this way too much.
I do really love princess Gambit but the sunshine court is so good in a lot of ways.
I read filthy animal and real life as well as this one but this book I think I like how unique it is you know I think real life did a great job of being like one POV one full complete like campus novel.
actually refusing compulsory sexuality a black asexual lens on our sex obsessed Culture by shironda J Brown this book came out in 2022 and as you can tell it's about asexuality and it's written by a black author.

the sunshine court is the surprise new series from noris sakovic who wrote All for the game the foxo court if you will this book I've read it three times I read it three times in 2024 and it came out in April.
I have a lot of critiques about it I don't think it's perfect by any means I think I gave it four stars on Goodreads so it's kind of funny that it's on this list.
this is not that book I've read that book that book is a choice.
these violent Delights by Micah n ne this is aook book that I've seen around and so it's been on my TBR for a couple of years now this book changed me.
what I want to talk about by Pete wary and I was profoundly Changed by reading this book this is a really interesting non-fiction book because the whole premise of it is that Pete wary is autistic and nobody ever lets him talk about the things that he wants to talk about.
this is the fourth one which is objectively my favorite because I think it was the one that touched me the most personally this follows our main guy Axel who is autistic and he's I think 30ish and he ends up pitching that the family friend Rooney become his wife.
