I was really scared about this one because I loved illuminate so much and I loved the document format that illuminate was told in
part of what I love about this book is that it takes on a historical event that not a lot of people know about it's about the sinking of a refugee ship during world war two called the wilhelm gustloff
it is based on the black lives matter movement and it is about a teenage an American girl who sees one of her friends killed by a police officer and she has to figure out if she's going to speak up what she's going to say how that's going to endanger her family it's so good
it's the last Raven cycle book and it was amazing and it was everything I wanted from the last book and even more things that I didn't know I wanted and it left me happy but also just wanting more of the story
it is political and romantic and devastating at times and full of war and betrayal and spying and death it's got all the things that I want and it just had me on the edge of my seat
this book really messed me up basically imagine the Hunger Games but instead of 12 teenagers being chosen every year to go fight each other to the death every teenager in Ireland has to fight for their life against very dark and sadistic fairies it is dark it is gruesome it is unique
premise of this book is basically built around a crew of time-traveling pirates ... I love books like I said that can mash together elements like this because they tend to sound like they will be very strange but then they end up being so amazing like this book
