this graphic novel was hilarious I'm usually not a huge fan of middle grade books but turns out I think I like middle grade graphic novels better

this book is just everything that I want from a picture book illustrations and texts that go hand in hand really well and also tell this really beautiful story of a child and his grandfather learning to communicate with each other even though they speak different languages they both speak the language of art

it was such an uplifting and positive story it was really funny it was very much my kind of superhero and that all of the answers didn't come down to violence and punching the bad guys in the face
this is the third in her comics collection series I read all of them but this was by far my favorite it had so many great comics about working from home and being creative and just life as an awkward person it made me laugh with every single page flip
I've heard so many great things about these poetry collections so I checked them out and I'm so glad I did they were really deep and dark and feminist and wonderful
just lots of great family dynamics and fantastic writing it was a bigger book I think but I flew through it I cannot recommend it enough if you're looking for something to pull you out a reading slump or just kind of something light and nice

When you are a writer, this is the book that you want to read cuz it's just so it touches all the writer roots. touches all the reader roots. It's just it's fantastic.
If you like Snow White and the Huntsman, it's like that but better. It was so dark and so creepy.
As someone who's really involved with horses, I have horseback road for 12 years. I've grown up on farms. Like this is really wonderful for me to read, but as someone that's a little bit less horsey, it might be a little bit strange.
And it was so well written. It was an insta lovey. There's so much about here about like identity and artistic freedom and like racism and family issues.
I really enjoyed this book as like a morally gray like what would you do if kind of book and it's definitely very different. Like the style is very different.
