I've been slowly reading through A Letter to the Luminous Deep. This was fine. it is a epistlary novel... but this is like very slow... So, it's like three stars. It was fine.

I finished Butcher the Forest last night and really enjoyed this. This is what I was expecting to get, which is great. a lot of like forest body horror, sentient woods kind of thing... so yeah, that was good. Like four stars.
So, I finished The Dead Cat Tale Assassins. This was fine. I like Peach Jelly Clark's other stuff... this had a few things where like the sense of humor felt a little bit too modern and there was some like modern terms of phrase that he was using kind of as jokes, but I just didn't think it really landed. So this was just like fine. Like a three star I'd say.
I just finished The Ornithologist Feel Guide to Love. audio book is definitely the way to go. It's very cute and funny like that because it's over the top intentionally... I would say it was like a 3.75.
I finished Sunbringer by Hannah Conir last night and loved this. Continues to be five out of five stars. I just love the like animism with all the different gods and the political minations and what makes a god and like belief and all of that.
I finished the rainfall market in just a couple of days. This was fine. It's one of those books that like I kind of saw what the point was so early and I was like, well, maybe something will change and it really didn't. I want to give it a three just cuz it's like it's fine, but it's also like... it didn't really do anything and like the writing wasn't anything like spectacular or anything.
I actually just realized that her other book was the Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels or something which I had tried read but didn't like.
