Most Anticipated Books of 2026

one of the books that I read in 5 years had a twist to it that was like it made it not really a romance in a lot of ways in the way that you thought it was going to be, but it was still a really good book, but for different reasons.

I do think the Alex Stern stuff is better than what she's maybe attempted recently... this is going to motivate me to reread 9inth House, which was like fine when I read it when it first came out. I find them kind of fun.

This is the sequel to Shape a Dragon's Breath, which is one of my favorite books of last year. Anyway, that book was fantastic, all the characters in that world are fantastic.
