Recent Fiction Reads Wrapup | 2025

This is perfect gothic mystery with some romance. Perfect for me. Like I loved everything about it.

So I was rereading this just to remember everything. This continues to be a five stars for me.

So, yeah, this one also loved. Five out of five stars.

This final book, I will say it's it's large and there's so many threads that I feel like it was a little bit weaker than the rest of the books in the series. I think the first one is still my favorite.

This unfortunately didn't quite hit for me. I found some of a lot of things to be kind of disjointed as far as her character work.

This first book, I talked about this more in my review, is very heavily military fantasy and not a lot of character focus and so I was a little bit put off by that. And I'm giving it only about three stars.

Yeah, so I loved this. I gave it a five out of five stars.

So for numerous reasons this wasn't for me. I gave it two out of five stars.

I will say that this one is a little bit weaker than the other because there's there's a slight mystery element, but it's not our like main character from the first two. ... So, I gave this one four out of five stars.
