My favorite books of 2024

they weren't that scary and maybe because I put a little too much expectation on each book they were still really good still really great character work

it's probably one of my favorite books of his and probably one of my favorite books period

I first started with Mr Mercedes and I think at this time I wanted just a good thriller mystery detective kind of book and this was great this was fun it was just a good kind of popcorn book

they weren't that scary and maybe because I put a little too much expectation on each book they were still really good still really great character work

absolutely loved what Brandon sanderson's doing with Wheel of Time I think he has done a great job with emulating Robert Jordan's writing style and really just honoring Robert Jordan's world and character work it doesn't feel like a different author honestly

the outsider had a strong start I did not finish it because there was a lot of telling and not showing I wanted a little more darkness and ambiguity so yeah I didn't finish it

I would say books 11 and 12 knife of dream and the Gathering storm I feel like these books have stuck with me a little more because there's so many different plot threats and different characters and perspectives and they're all kind of coming together
