The Worst & Most Disappointing Books of 2024

the plot quickly went downhill and without going into spoilers I'll just say that this book devolves into this heavy conversation about relationships... it just felt like reading someone's personal Diary of their marriage therapy

I was incredibly bored reading it and could not care less so not one i' recommend it was so disappointing and just again so forgettable

his artwork was so boring and did not in my mind capture the story and elevate it just was there and I can I say disappointing enough I don't recommend this one

this is just a really average post-apocalyptic book with some fancy elements that feel very uninspired and unexciting... I was very much let down

in the case of ghost station I was just bored which is the last thing you want to do for a book that is labeled as sci-fi horror or suspense instead I couldn't care less

this one really was a struggle for me largely because of my preference for the fact that I don't love transcripts within books... I found them incredibly annoying to read

this one just fell into the Trap of being boring I thought that it was telling the story in a way that I found very predictable I didn't find it interesting

it lacks suspense it just felt way more cutesy than I expected to be I thought that the pink cover was misleading but no it's exactly what you would expect I was so disappointed by this one complete let down

it was dare I say it again just forgettable it was such a nothing Burger of a book... I could not have cared less which probably makes me sound like a heartless reader

their writing was so weak their Pros was horrible and it just felt like mocking this literary author to have him compared to this amateur piece I did not like this book whatsoever

I just felt like it was very predictable very simple and really wasn't adding anything new anything interesting... I think this book is fine I have and will recommend it to those who again are of young adult age

this is one that completely fell flat for me... it tried really hard to make the book gutsy and violent and grownup and adult and it just hit all the wrong notes

ji eo's artwork continues to be fantastic however it is interspliced within this story and the actual one doing the writing who is not Juno wrote the most horribly dull predictive story

I found it quite dull I wasn't even scared I wasn't involved or engrossed or worried for the characters I was just once again bored

I will say that it was just a letdown it was a lot simpler than I expected to be a lot more narrow in scope and while it has some big Ideas behind it just it didn't come together for me
