My Top 10 Fantasy Series | 2022 #fantasybooks #top10books

i really fell in love with all of them yes i've watched the tv show through and yes of course i have read all five published books and even though there is a really good chance this series may never be completed i still have to rank it so high on this list because i love what we have of the story

this is really an enjoyable story that blends together action romance and a lot of kung fu normally i don't love stories that are so action-based but this one really pulled me in because it's a very engaging story

i of course love the hard magic system but i also really like the characters the main character of sanchez is just a really sassy woman

this book and this series has some epic moments some gut-stabbing moments as well some heartache it's very emotional it's very character-driven but it also has some good action and plotting and it's just such a page-turner

my favorite in the series definitely is jade war which in my opinion is the peak of everything i love about it

i will admit that i am putting this on the list because i love the first book so much the second book while i liked it i wasn't entirely in love with a romance plot

the reason honestly it's not higher on the list is tom bombadil in the first book some of the narrative choices in terms of the structure surprised me the climax in the third and final book happened so early and it really shook me and most of all just the poetry and songs in the book just are not my thing so without those elements this book could easily be in my top three i really loved a lot about it

i particularly love this first book but i really think that you have to read the entire trilogy and i recommend reading them back to back to back because in my opinion it really reads like one cohesive story and you will get the best experience if you just fly through them all

i love an evil lord and so for me honestly the first thing that pulled me into the story was that perspective or the idea that the emperor has already won and we are then taking the perspective of the rebels trying to fight back

the first book this one i'm holding here was definitely a five star read and then i feel like the series is a little bit slower in the later two books

this story has some really fantastic creative magic involving gods and powers and i love this one a lot
