TOP 10 HORROR GRAPHIC NOVELS #horrorbooks #graphicnovels

this is a comic that in a way is quite simple in terms of the story but it really felt very powerful reading it and just left quite an impression on me the artwork is absolutely beautiful

the way that they take these characters and write them into this horror narrative is so well done the artwork is beautiful it's done in these deep blues and purples and reds and it's just fits the tone perfectly

i just really love this one so if you have not checked it out please give it a try i think it's wonderful

not every comic hits the mark for me i'll be honest and that's again why it's so far down on this list but the stories that do work so well and i definitely recommend checking them out just for those gems throughout the whole series

this is a story that blends together a really good creepy story with some fantastic elements of diversity some really good conversations about prejudice and fear and it's just done in a very nuanced way and like i said at the same time this book is probably one of the scariest horror graphic novels on my entire list

these comics are actually very funny so this is not the kind of horror that is going to scare you but it really plays with those dark elements in a fun way

i put lock and key at the top of my list because i love this series and i think it is so well done i said before the joe hill is one of my favorite horror authors graphic novels or otherwise and i just think it's the fact that he has an incredible voice for telling really compelling stories

this one is incredibly fun incredibly dark if you love a creepy kid as much as i do then this is definitely one you want to check out it is very satirical but at the same time it's gruesome and bloody and i really liked all the twisted places that the story went

while i love the beginning of it eventually i did get fatigued and have not come back to finish out the series but if you want a really good character story that just happens to have zombies in it so it does have some action it does have some gruesome moments but really it's the characters that will keep you coming back and i thought it just was so compelling

the artwork is some of my favorite on this entire list it's done in like a watercolor style and it's just so beautiful so creepy it fits a story perfectly and it's unsettling
