Age of AshDaniel Abraham
Loved it

I was overall really impressed by this one it's definitely got me interested in reading this author's backlist in terms of their fantasy work and I thought their writing was rich the characters all of those elements again came together really nicely for me

this is a novella that I read many years ago and I fully admit that it wasn't a favorite the year that I read it because I didn't quite understand what the author was doing rereading it now it has absolutely become a favorite

Gods WarKameron Hurley
Loved it

I love this book but I loved it because I love what cram and Hurley does and they create the most incredible dark gritty worlds and they give you the world building in a way that I've come to really enjoy

I thought it was a really strong book it's relatively long but I flew through it and found a very interesting easy to read accessible but with very good prose and really just again the whole package I'm looking for in something like this so I recommend it

Night AngelBrent Weeks
Loved it

this is a backless series I read for the first time this year and I personally really enjoyed it. I'm holding up the first book but I have read all three in the original trilogy as well as a new release and overall I like these I think that they're doing some really great things

this is one that just really impresses me it's possibly my favorite of his work at this point because I just think that it doesn't really do anything wrong and instead is all the great steps. I highly recommend this one if you somehow haven't read it

The Last UnicornPeter S. Beagle
Loved it

the movie adaptation isn't that far off from the original Source material so having loved the plot points the dialogue and everything in the movie it was very easy to love the book as well. I highly recommend this one I think the pros is beautiful the story itself again is emotional and just wonderful

so this is story that I love for a lot of reasons I love that the characters are all very morally ambiguous. the character work as everyone says is fantastic I really love lock lamora as well as his friend Jacques and you have this Bromance between the two of them that really carries the books

what I love so much about the book is watching her move around and trying to gain a little bit more power trying to influence other people and all of that maneuvering just makes for a really fascinating story. I love this first book and I personally think that the next two are just as strong highly recommend them
