this book is a few years old it's one of the backless titles so the one the downside to this book is of course it doesn't go up to Modern events it doesn't address Ukraine but I still think it's really important to have the roots

now I do really like this book I think it has some great themes and messaging so surrounding class and privilege but my only complaint of this book which would have made it higher up on the list is the fact that the author is very naive
we find this book to be beautiful and thoughtful but at the heart of the story is a disgusting horrible man
I think it's a sleeper hit of the year and more people should definitely check it out
this is a book that I found fascinating because of those Beginnings the case itself was a little bit simplistic it's not my favorite book on the list since obviously it's that number nine but I do recommend checking this one out I do think it's worth reading
of all the ones I read this was the strongest for me it's the most compelling it's the darkest it gives me the best idea of his psychological profile which is terrifying and if you can't tell it definitely left an impression on me
I thought it was just very well done I enjoyed the aspects of the author's story within the story and of course the larger's case was fascinating as well
as a bonus read I'm also going to mention the Russians Among Us which is a fantastic book that addresses the sleepers that exist within North America and it's fascinating
this was a tough book to read very sobering very depressing but also very important and I really recommend it especially to those that have read Lolita
I thought it was a fantastic book but really for all the books on this list if they're on the top 10 they are books that I enjoy when it comes to True Crime
the reason it's not higher on the list honestly is the fact that the narrative is a little bit fragmented it focuses on a lot of different cases and you get little tidbits of different cases throughout his career but it was still a really compelling narrative
I just think that Johnny Douglas does some fantastic work with bringing these cases to light I think the author did a really great job with this book as he has done with pretty much all the other books I've read by him
