this one just is intense it's Fierce it's stuck with me and I love it so much honestly it could have even been higher up on this list

it's slow it's subtle there's so many things I love about this book but particularly I think it has a really unique ending which helped to solidify it as my number one book of the year

this one is very much slow and subtle hor if you're looking for some big gruesome events on the page instead this is very much that subtle feeling where it's very slow and nuanced and it's a beautiful work

I thought this book was great it has some potential possession and is this woman crazy or is there more going on in a way that I thought was really well done

I really enjoyed this one I will give the slight Edge to Night's Edge no pun intended that I felt that book was a stronger debut

this was one that has a very unique narrative and really grew on me it started out interesting and it actually got quite suspenseful quite psychological and I found myself quite engrossed

again as a book I picked up on a lark hoped I would like it hoped I would at least enjoy it a bit and ended up completely loving

what starts out as this simple text with this simple premise buil into something that became quite psychological which I was not expecting ... I found myself very disturbed

which if you follow my channel you saw was one of my favorite backlist books of the year

if you love vampire fiction or if you are like me and love vampire fiction when it goes out of the usual tropes and setup and plot ... this one was great it has a fast narrative drive it's action-packed

if you love stories that are a criticism of the beauty industry and specifically targeting that Wellness culture this one is sharp and biting it's on the nose ... I thought it was great I thought it was a lot of fun
