My Top 10 Sci Fi & Fantasy Graphic Novels

Reviews10

Alex + AdaUnknown
Loved it

this is a very short graphic novel series I believe it's done in three volumes and I really like that about it because often my complaint with graphic novel series is that if they take off the artist and writer just keep going and keep going and instead this one has a really nice start middle and end

DescenderJeff Lemire
Loved it

this book or this series rather is just so smart it has some great twists and turns and I love the artwork... the story itself just completely holds up... I love it so much it's just perfect I could reread it over and over again

EtherUnknown
Loved it

I found this book to be really funny but it also had some depth to it and just overall really enjoyable I think the artwork was great it's very colorful with nice bursts of different bright Hues and yeah overall I really enjoyed it

KantoUnknown
Loved it

this is definitely one that follows some fancy tropes but they tend to be ones that I find enjoyable and overall I just really like this one again another one I think is a little bit more under hyped and I do think it's worth your time

MonstressUnknown
Loved it

Oh my goodness is the artists do an amazing job the imagery is beautiful it's gorgeous I love the style it's absolutely stunning even when I'm confused by what is happening on a particular page I just want to stare at the artwork

SentientJeff Lemire
Loved it

I am a sucker for an artificial intelligence especially when it's tied to a ship so this one was trophy but it hit all of my favorite tropes and I do really like this author

Sweet ToothUnknown
Loved it

I really like this one again I believe it's done in six volumes and again I do like stories that are a bit more complete so they don't just wonder aimlessly through volume after volume but instead there is a concrete beginning middle and end and I thought this one was very well done highly recommend

The CapeJoe Hill
Loved it

this is a fantastic anti-superhero story and I have to warn you it's really dark and really Grim I believe it's just a standalone volume and my goodness it kind of left me depressed but I do think that Joe Hill is an amazing writer

I binged through all 10 books I requested from my library and read one after another after another after another until I was all done however the reason that this book series is a little bit lower on the list is just the fact that in terms of its gender representation and some of the themes it hasn't aged as well as I would like it
