Best Books of 2019

Reviews15

this book really resonated with me ... I just loved the reality sad about the rawness of this book and it really reminded me of how I felt when I lived in the country and wasn't doing very well

this book properly opened up the door to me to kind of understand schizophrenia from the individuals perspective ... I just thought it was really important and if you feel any fear around kind of schizophrenia and psychosis or just want to understand a little bit more I think it's really worth a read

CoventryRachel Cusk
Loved it

my three honorable mentions for 2019 are the Lost Children archive by valerian it was Sealy coventry by Rachel cask and no visible bruises by rachel louise snyder and loved all three of these books

this is easily the best audiobook West audio like experience in a book I've ever had ... I knew this was fiction but felt so much that it was true and the voice acting was amazing all of the characters felt really different

I absolutely adored this book the minute I read it I knew it was just going to be fantastically it was one of these books or you just like know that it's just amazing and that everyone else is gonna do it as well ... it was my best book of the year definitely

HeartburnNora Ephron
Loved it

I remember reading it really clearly and remember just like the book made the day better heartburn is like full of these little recipes and cooking and like food and living ... I don't know that I've read a book like a fiction book that's made me want to eat the food in it so badly

it was just so creative the way that she spoke about what had happened to her and how that made her feel about herself and other relationships and what a strange world that world is and I just thought it was beautifully done and if you haven't picked up yet I would very much recommend it

this book is talking about the history of climate change and the reasons why action wasn't taken a lot sooner and I thought that was such an essential piece of the puzzle in terms of talking about climate change today I had to keep it on my nest

I have recommended the Lost Children archive to quite a few people that for me the one that got like closest doing the list ... I would highly recommend any three of those books as well

no visible bruises may well have been there but I just finished reading it and I don't quite trust myself to say like a hundred percent I was but my last book of twenty of 2019 and so I absolutely loved it

the book itself is one of those like otherworldly but very much our world books that totally draw me in and I just believed this as like a kind of thriller II experience and love the medical mystery element fantastic

she is so funny as well as talking about things in such a sensible way ... there's some things in that I'm taking forward with me as like actions to try and do in 2020 ... I just think overall it was like a fantastic listening experience
