My Favorite Books #50-41 (Top 50)

mccamon just knocks it out of the park it is one of the best the best Coming of Age stories I've ever read

daughter of the Empire is the first book in that series and what is most remarkable about this work which came out in the 1980s is for me the World building and the culture and the setting is so remarkable

dead house gates is a remarkable work and I this is the first time that I loved a book by Erikson

fo's errand is remarkable in many ways it's a sequel to the farseer trilogy and that's been a first person narrative for three books and this is the fourth book where we have Fitz as a character narrating the story but it's set 15 years later and the first 150 pages of this is one of the most remarkable things I've ever read

Gone Baby Gone is remarkable for me a work of crime fiction to be elevated to a favorites book list for me it has to have a depth of theme and the third Act of this book is downright remarkable

this book is downright remarkable because of the writing if you had to ask me top 10 list of writers that have the greatest command of the English language and just simp l words on the page are the best I would start at the top and it would be Charlotte Bronte

I love this book I suspect this will also be a top 50 book for me as well it's probably very high maybe not even on this list but on one of the later lists

it was remarkable it's a book that I actually the first time I tried to read it I dfed but I picked it up again a year and a half later and so glad because it was such a moving literary experience

it's a picture perfect ending it's a picture perfect book and it's only 40 whatever on this list my goodness I've read some great books in my lifetime The Grapes of Wrath being one of the best

the shadow Rising is my favorite book in The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and this book series just has a soft spot in my heart because I took a big break from Reading fantasy probably about 18 years

the terror is a perfect mashup of genres that Simmons is so great you see by the title you would suspect that this is a horror novel and there are horror elements here there are Fantastical elements here but this is primarily a work of historical fiction

this is the sequel to Pillars of the Earth and I hear a lot of people talk about Pillars of the Earth you'll hear me talk about it in a future video but I don't know why people don't talk about this one because it is such a worthy sequel
