i really loved this not quite as much as live ship trader particularly because i feel like the assassin's apprentice the first book is weaker compared to books two and three but overall i still loved this series so much from beginning to end

the first one being foundry sci which i read two years ago and loved so much
it's such a fun and fast-paced bizarre story i loved every second of it was just like i don't know refreshing i think was a good word to describe lots of fun very dark and i'm gonna pick up the second one soon but i loved this first one a lot
i read jade city and jade war this year the first two books within the green bone saga and oh my goodness this is such a fun series
loved the first two books in this trilogy cannot wait for the third one but this is just everything read it
this is a first book to a new y a urban fantasy series that guys honestly blew me away blew my mind i feel like i have been non-stop talking about this book since i've read it because it's truly just so good
it is so good it's incredibly fast-paced as it has sort of this thriller urgency to it but it has such a unique idea and setting at its core as well with this sort of twisty turvy alchemic inspiration and many different academic settings it's so good and so weird honestly just one of the most inventive and strange books i read in 2020 and i loved every single second of it
again another fave author of mine this of course is the second book to the foundry side series the first one being foundry sci which i read two years ago and loved so much so i was very excited to see that the sequel definitely lived up to my expectations and really pushed the narrative quality of this fantasy world forward
this is truly a love song to this city nk jemisin lives here and you can see it seeped into all of its pages it's honestly one of the most unique stories i've ever read
this of course is the third and final book to the dabba bad trilogy which has since become one of my favorite fantasy series of all time and this concluding novel did not disappoint in any way
this is a grimdark fantasy story inspired by the song dynasty the sino-japanese wars as well as the opium wars it is one of the most gruesome tales i personally have ever read but also just one of the best written in terms of military conflict and strategy
