Thank you be E. Schwab for giving me the most vampire vampiry book that I have read in years. I loved every single second of it.
Ultimate Fall Reading Guide! (vampires, witches, and more!)
And I loved this so much. from the literary influences to the historical influences to the writing style to the pacing. The arc of the story was incredible. The ending 10 out of 10.
again, ominous, spooky, disturbing, a really interesting like hook in terms of the inspiration for the horror elements, and it works really well, not only in creating like something that is scary, but also in the way that the book references these various historical time periods as well.
And TK Fishcher's writing style is so beautiful. It'll just pull you right in. I promise you will love it and then read everything else TK Fisher has written.
And to say that this book is like creepy is an understatement. I got scared reading this at night. The ambiance and the atmosphere that the author was able to create really permeated the overall vibes of this book and it worked quite successfully.
The character connections themselves are also wonderful. It's kind of like cozy found family if it was also horrifying and incredibly disturbing. And this was just like such a good time. I read it quickly.
I was on the edge of my seat from page one with this. It was just so unbelievably entertaining and such a good fall read.
It truly has all the vibes you could possibly want within a fall read. And it was so good.
