HUGE BOOK UNHAUL (new year new me? lol)

I did read the prequel that came out more recently and I had the exact same problems as I had with Prior with this prequel book.

I've actually read this book, really enjoyed this book, this is the third book to the Amari series by BB Alston which I would say is one of my current favorite middle-grade fantasy series. It has such great characters, it has such an imaginative plot, story setting, I've loved every installment I've read so far.

I love cozy murder mystery stories... this is so cozy and fun and like such a cute pickup. It's just like a really good time honestly, like couldn't recommend more.

This is a Sapphic academic rivals to lovers fae centered story, it was a lot of fun to read but another example of something I just don't see myself rereading. I don't think it's like the best book I've ever read, again not something I'm necessarily going to reread, but I do feel like it was quite a good time and worth the checkout.

I read this and honestly really enjoyed it but of the Maureen Johnson books that I have read recently I just don't see myself revisiting this very fun YA standalone. It has a perfect combination of like likable characters, humor and actually like compelling and like heart racing mystery plotline.

I did give Golden Son a try this last year because a lot of people say it's so much better than Red Rising and while I did see an improvement I still overall just have not really fully connected with this sci-fi series.

Another book that I honestly liked quite a bit. I don't have much negative things to say about this book, I honestly just don't see myself rereading it. It's a very entertaining read and I just feel like other people would really like to read and enjoy this as well.

I actually liked this book I liked this book just fine, like honestly I don't really have anything like too negative to say about this story. It's a portal fantasy which I really enjoyed, I liked the character dynamics, like honestly this was an enjoyable read.

I read Red Rising a couple years ago, did not like it at all, fighting, plotting and characters. I just have not had a lot of success with this series.

Another one of my least favorite reads of last year. I liked this book just fine but honestly I just feel like I've read a lot of better books than this. I personally found the characters to be one-dimensional.

Honestly I wish I could have the time back that I spent reading this book. From the writing style to the characterization to the plotting, like everything about this was like not good at all, one of the worst books I've read maybe in years.

Honestly this book was a blast. This is like a closed door Christmas murder mystery romance story, the combination of genres was like delightful and fun and earnestly like I have no real major complaints about this book.

Really great writing, great work, I found the plotting to be rather lackluster especially the ending. This book was kind of like a three star reading experience for me, it was good wasn't great for me personally.

He was right on the money because I read this and really enjoyed it. It's the perfect mix of like fantasy and magic and community and romance, delightful.

This is a book I actually DNFed, I read about 100 pages of it and unfortunately it just wasn't landing for me personally. I loved the concept and the setting but I actually found the narration of this book to be a little grating for me personally.

For some reason I loved the idea of this book I really appreciated the inputs but the execution overall just didn't really land for me. Given I only gave this book two stars I'm definitely not going to be rereading this.
