tackling my 225 book physical TBR - reading vlog episode 4 (one of my most anticipated releases!) 📚✨

I liked this. I liked the concept, I liked the writing, I liked the characters, the world itself was fascinating. I liked that it kind of had more of a mystery forward sci-fi noir plot line.

I'm still really liking this book. Please don't get me wrong, but I will say I did guess like the two big plot twists like 45% of the way through this book. And I was hoping I guessed it like right before the reveal was going happen, but that was not the case

All that to say is the first 150 pages of this really, really, really pulled me in. And I feel like it's off to a very strong start with like the things I expected from this author, but also improvements in areas as well

I just recently reread The Subtle Knife, really enjoyed it, and I also want to get to Philip Pullman's other series, which I've heard fantastic things about.
