reading my fav book reviewers fantasy recs!! (1300 pages and 2 books!)

This series is so engaging. But so far with the about 150 160 pages I have left of this book, the world of this beyond the dungeon is also starting to like become a part of the plot which I really like. It also gets better and better with every installment.

Obviously I read the first book last year. Really liked it. It was great, but also now in the context of starting book two, it's also amazing because I feel like it really established, as I've said too, a stage for the events of the second installment to happen.

I picked this book up thinking I was going to like it, but I thought it was going to be like a slower, more methodical read. And the thing is, it is slower pacing, but also in a way where I'm utterly captivated. I feel like this is a great example of slower paced fantasy, which I like.
