I disliked everything about this book the inexplicable usage of writing in the second person for a third of this book is off-putting to say the least it felt like the author was just trying to be clever It ultimately just took me out of the story completely

Gideon the ninth is one of the worst books that I've ever read in my life you know the plot of this book revolves around this whodunit and while that isn't horrible on its own right it ended up being just a severe bore
the first book was Prince of Thorns and the second book is King of Thorns so was it any doubt that he was going to be successful in winning this Kingdom I hate it when book titles do this
I hate one of these main characters Wayne his entire character is written to be funny and with humor being as subjective as it is for me personally his humor just totally fails to make the mark I thought the final book of these four was atrocious to say the least it didn't have a Sanderson ending
the first one is decent you're get ready to read a lot of the same thing it's just constantly the same basic structure to every one of these stories the fact that the plots are just kind of like feel rehashed without the main plot of the story really progressing it's just pretty weak and unenjoyable
I did not like the first book and the second book I found to be atrocious stories here just feel both predictable and quite a bit of a bore
the main character here is just so Bland and uninteresting even after reading the first Trilogy I feel like I hardly know the guy his best trait is being really full of himself I did love the finale of the series I thought it was wonderful the last 50 pages of the final book in this Trilogy were great
it's written horrifically the first book is just like a fever dream it doesn't explain anything it's just this dude going across the Wasteland chasing somebody
the second book comes and it's like okay now it's going to get better right nope it gets worse totally changes the scene to Modern Day New York with this jumping around timeline thing that doesn't make any sense
I don't like Dresden not because he doesn't have some interesting things about him but because he is very clearly a sexist person and so sexist that it's awkward he's sexist and he's sexual towards children and that's weird
I just thought it was okay I certainly more than respect it for what it is for the genre I think it's the most important fantasy work of all time but I don't know if it should be a surprise to anybody that a book that's like 80 years old is not as good as some books that have come out since then
I absolutely loathe this main character Ren is extremely frustrating to read about I felt like she had this good character Arc in the first book that developed who she was as a person and just culminated in a shockingly brutal ending
