I'm just not finding this exciting enough as like a murder mystery. I know that it's kind of more a cozy vibe, but it's just feeling so flat for me.

I did enjoy my time reading this one. There were a couple of things that weren't as strong for me, like the writing and kind of characterization of the main character, but the kind of sleuthing investigative elements was a much nicer balance than what I read in A Very Merry Murder.
I ended up really liking this one. I thought this was a really fun and cozy and whimsical Christmas festive romance. I really like the premise and you know the spin on the ghost of Christmas.
I started reading How to Excavate a Heart by Jake Maya Arlo and I got 21% of the way through and I have decided to soft DNF it. I just wasn't entirely vibing with it either. And the main character and the like love interest were both grating on me a little bit too much.
I have finished reading I'll Be Gone for Christmas and I had a very fun time reading this one. I was really quite invested in both of our main characters stories and journeys.
I loved Wrapped Up in You. I really enjoyed it. I had such a great time. I loved the characters. I loved how thoughtful and respectful and full of yearning Will was.
