Beautifully foolish endeavor that is going to go in I think great. I don't plan on rereading it again but I had a really great time reading it.
TIER RANKING ALL THE SERIES I HAVE FINISHED || October 2020 [CC]
- Ranking · 32 books
ACOTAR, so A Court of Thorns and Roses, this one I have actually reread twice it's going in demigod tier... the second book is so good, like that second book keeps me up till like three in the morning.
Divergence, strong start and rough ending... I really liked the first book of Divergent... I hate the third book... I absolutely hated the tonal shift, I hated the ending.
oh Divine Cities trilogy. This is another great one but high end of great... I really liked it but I do think that some... I had a really good time with it.
Oh Farseer trilogy I’m not rereading this, it's too heartbreaking... it's like a very well-written classic fantasy and I do really like the author... amazing character work... that's what makes it great.
Oh foundation trilogy that's good yeah I think it had a really strong start... I don't like the ending... I loved the first book and then each book after that was just downhill.
His dark materials, God Tier. I love that series... I’ve reread it multiple times it holds up it's great.
Oh Hyperion this is great... I like the first two as like a complete thought and the second two as like a complete thought... I generally had a really good time with it and I do plan to reread it.
Legion, it's just good it's a fun series. This is three Sanderson novellas... I had a good time with it.
Lightbringer series, this is also demigod tier. I think slightly above City of Brass just because of the epic scale of it... it was amazing.
Mistborn which is awesome, God Tier. Yeah I have reread Mistborn multiple times, probably three times.
the Night Angel series, it's good but I honestly didn't love reading it like much... it's not nearly as good or well written... it was like just good.
Oh Red Rising, that's great Red Rising's great... it just was fun, it was a great time... I don't know if I’ll reread it.
Oh Scythe, Arc of a Scythe… I just finished this one recently and it's… I think that one's good... I do like the ending of the trilogy... I don't want to reread it.
oh Shades of Magic this one's… I think I’m gonna put this right below Lord of the Rings. I think it's just good for me... it wasn't that captivating to me... I really liked the third book but the first two were kind of like work.
The Aspect Emperor… this I don't even know this one maybe it should have been bad... I did not like the second series much, I was really upset that like I spent time reading that book.
Ooh the Broken Earth Trilogy is god tier! It's quite possibly the best series I have ever read so of course it is god tier.
Oh the Daevabad trilogy that is that's it's a demigod tier or god tier? I think it's demigod tier because I’m going to reread it... man do I have a really good time reading that trilogy.
Ooh the Dreamblood duology that is also demigod tear oh I love those books... I just love The Shadowed Sun so much... dream magic, such good character work, such amazing world building.
this is the first Guy Gavriel Kay I read this is the finovar tapestry. It's good, it's nothing amazing or groundbreaking for me... I don't have strong emotions about it.
Oh The First Law trilogy, this is again it's going in great but like at the end of great because yes the character works great... but boy do I hate the plot... there is no traditional plot and it's really long.
Oh Hundred Thousand Kingdoms, this is also demigod tier... I really do want to reread it... I like the themes that are explored there's definitely so much that I could pick up on a reread.
The Hunger Games yeah it's also a strong start and rough ending. I don't like Mockingjay... I was really disappointed in it.
Lord of the Rings… I love what this book has done for the genre... they aren't written in a way that works for my brain very well... it's high good, like the top of good.
Oh, the Reckoners, I do not like the Reckoners that much the more I think about it... I didn't like it I just didn't like the ending of Calamity.
So The Testaments yes strong start and rough ending they just, they're different books they're completely different books. I already have a rant review for that.
And oh The Villains I liked that a little bit more than Shades of Magic but I’m still gonna just put it in good... great pleasure reads... I don't remember a lot about them.
And let's see the last one is the Winternight Trilogy, oh such a great trilogy. That is demigod tier that is so good definitely rereading it.
The Darkness That Comes Before, so this is The Prince of Nothing trilogy... this is a good series... I thought it was really interesting, it's very dark though... it's also kind of wordy and like it's not my type of writing style... but I did like it enough.
Throne of Glass that's just like a good series put it here really like I got invested and I enjoyed it but... there's something about reading seven books and kind of knowing that your big payoff's just going to be a lot of pairing off.
