Jade City is a really strong opening book and Jade legacy is a very strong conclusion.

And I Jade legacy is maybe my second favorite in that series. It's neck and neck with Jade city. Jade City is a really strong opening book and Jade legacy is a very strong conclusion.
I think in Jade War, the time jumps are jarring because we don't really have time jumps into eight city.
Oh, I love her. I've read her four times. She's amazing. If you have not tried the mask of mirrors again, you got to give it a go.
And I was fresh off of graduating, about to graduate, with my PhD. And it was just delightful. It was reminding me of Stardust, the movie.
I did have like a seven hour flight from Spain to Chicago, but I read it in a day and I adore it. It's so good. That whole series is so good.
Yeah, I did read the first book. I just had no interest in finishing it.
I do love the Veil Throne, but like the speaking bones is where the payoff is because it's the end. And I love the last chapter of that book so much. Like, I love it when I finish that book, the book hangover that just wafted over me.
But Discord of Gods is the finale, and I did read the last 250 pages within 48 hours because it's pretty baller. Like it's a great.
I do like the Grace of Kings, the first book, but it's very different from the other three.
In the background are teenagers who would be the main characters in any other story are very important and doing things in the background, but that's not the focus of the story and I love it so much.
Priya and Melanie and the messiness of the different gods and the occupation and the yearning. It's really good. Probably my favorite book in the sapphic trifecta.
I also really love the lost metals. So it was close for me. I think Lost Metal is a little more bombastic. I gave myself a migraine.
My actual favorite book in the series is Memory of Souls.
I'm really am happy that this book has been finding its audience because I read it the year it came out and like no one was really talking about it. This is truly it loves its genre and it's so imaginative and unique.
And then I buddy read it with some friends, and then I think I loved it the most. And I have read it three times and I've read the whole series. It's really good.
The strongest is Wall of Storms for me, in terms of like having all the checkmarks on all the boxes. But if you don't like Grace of Kings that much, I say read the first 200 to 300 pages of Wall of Storm and you'll know real soon if you actually you're going to like it, because the pacing really does change dramatically.
I do enjoy the world we make. I enjoy it quite a bit. I do think reading something that contemporary in the times in which we live is tricky, but I love the For the Cities Born Great duology.
And I do love the Veil Throne, but like the speaking bones is where the payoff is because it's the end.
I was not expecting to like this because it is a World War one historical fantasy, but I loved it. So I was nervous, but I loved reading this and I read it in the fall. It's a great book.
And I really loved how it was broken down. But I do think wind and truth is the one that I like a smidge more. And the haters gonna hate, but, like, I it was great.
