The Best Books I Read in 2025

Reviews13

I thought this book just did a phenomenal job of bringing all of that together. It was written really well, very compelling, with a nice human touch, which I really enjoyed. So if you were ever vaguely interested in that period of history or just women's lives historically and historical issues that might affect us today then this is a must read.

Loved it

This was just such like a fascinating book with so much depth for so few pages. And it was like a book I could not put down.

Loved it

I couldn't believe how much she packed into this book while still writing something very accessible. I felt with this book, as I have with all of her books, that I could fully absorb the subject matter without any prior knowledge. But I thought it was fantastic.

Loved it

That is something that this book tackles and looks at in all its intricacies. And I think it's another just really important conversation to us for us to be having.

Loved it

This one particularly blew me away. There was a real depth to the themes and emotions I guess I connected to or found very compelling. I absolutely loved it.

Loved it

I particularly loved Tastes Like Shakar. I didn't expect this book to really blow me away as much as it did. It is so fun to fall in love with characters and really root for their relationship in the way that I did with this book. So yeah, this was an absolute banger.
