In a Dark, Dark WoodRuth Ware
Not a fan

there's nothing unique about this incredibly bland i've already forgotten nearly every single character's name i had to look it up when i was going to do this review ... in the end i gave in a dark wood two out of five creepy candles

One by OneRuth Ware
Not a fan

there are multiple different types of twists and i think that sometimes ruth ware does do twists really well but both of these i thought you could see coming from a mile away so overall there was really nothing i enjoyed about this book and i gave it one out of five at creepy candles

i was really intrigued by the setup from the get-go i really enjoyed learning about each member of the west away family ... i do remember the twist really vividly and being really surprised ... in the end i gave the death of mrs westaway four out of five creepy candles

The Lying GameRuth Ware
Mixed

i have to say i loved all of the women in this book i loved their friendship isa i think would i would say is maybe one of my favorite narrators ... at least that fifty percent of the way a lot of the intrigue fell flat for me because i just didn't find this horrible thing that the four of them did really all that horrific ... i gave this three out of five creepy candles

The Turn of the KeyRuth Ware
Loved it

i was pretty engrossed the entire time i think this is a really perfect kind of thriller bee tree that you do want to keep going through ... the only con is i would say the ending felt really rushed when the rest of the book felt a little bit slow so it just felt a little bit lopsided but overall this was a fun book i gave it four stars

i did give this three stars and i said it was fine at the time and i enjoyed it but i do remember thinking very vividly that lo the protagonist was a little bit similar to liz from one by one where she was just very meek and annoying ... i also wrote that the ending fell flat because of the villain but again zero memory as to who the villain was because clearly it was not very memorable for me
