If I add up all of my ratings, this ends at exactly a 3.5. If there were multiple five stars, I will always round it up to a four because usually all the stories are like a three and maybe there's one good one. So, the fact that I had three five stars in here and quite a few fours, I feel super comfortable rounding this up to a four.
Weekly Reading Vlog 🌈 weird books recommended to me!
In The Book of X, we're following a girl who is born with a knot. It's like outside of her body and affects her life and people like bully people for these knots. They both just seem fine to me right now.
I think you know that I wouldn't purchase a book after reading it if I didn't give it at least a four. This is my four to five star shelf. This is going on it. I'm giving it a four.
I read the beginning of this again at page 25. I know that's not very far in, but I just don't feel like this is for me.
Sarah Rose Edder I liked Ripe even though Ripe is a weird girl book that I objectively shouldn't have liked. Like this isn't really my type of book, but something about it made it work.
I finished Sisters and I feel fine about it. I just don't feel like it went as far as I kind of felt like it could be going. And the place that it did go was really expected.
Well, that was certainly a weird book. Ideas presented were interesting. It's unique and quirky. I didn't dislike the writing. The vibes were just okay. I ended up giving that like just a four, and this one is just a three.
there are one, two, three books on this list of 10 that I've DNFED and one that I've completed and didn't like. And that's Where I End by Sophie White. That was not the book for me.
