Loved it

if I'm selling a copy of Black Easter, that's a book that I love, I know how rare it is. I'm naturally excited about it and I can give a broader sense of context for why that book is special and why it's worth reading.

Loved it

I was impressed. I tend to respond well to that kind of fragmented storytelling. I think that it is slightly soft around the edges and I found the ending a little bit unsatisfying. I don't think it's quite a masterpiece, but it was a very good book. if you hate your boss, you might like this book.

Not a fan

I did not like this novel ultimately, but I have to put the proviso on it that I don't know what it was about. I don't think I got it. I think it was potentially over my head.

Loved it

Once again, I thought this book was very good. It's short. It's emotionally powerful. It's subtly and quietly written.

It's a really strange, surrealist, disjointed book about this guy named Freeway who's an auctioneer who auctions off objects and pieces of art that are endowed with a certain provenence attached to famous public figures, including their teeth. Very funny book, very engaging book. I really liked it. and I recommend it.

Loved it

it's really a neat book and it's really beautiful and it's very funny and odd and even though it is maybe just a touch twe in parts, I think it is quite moving. But I really like temporary. I recommend it.

I just I never got around to reading it until a couple months ago, and man, I didn't like it. The whole thing feels like paste to me. It feels like a big chunk of kind of indiscriminate fan service for a bunch of different properties that don't really cohhere into something that is special feeling.
