Worst/Most Disappointing Books of 2021

I think the artwork and all five issues were excellent. It was amazing, but the story just fell so flat.

I really didn't like it. I'm still surprised that I ended up giving it three stars.

I read the full bind-up and was so angry by the time that I finished it. ... The story was just not executed well. I felt like there were some things going on there that were just offensive.

It just was not there at all and it was just extremely disappointing. I still ended up giving it three stars.

There's no consent there. So, that really didn't sit well with me and it was just really disappointing.

I did not really enjoy Suicide Squad Future State at all. I gave both of those two stars.

I have read Lock Every Door and also Home Before Dark and I ended up giving both of those four stars. I really enjoyed those.

Unfortunately, it was so disappointing and so offensive and a book I've never felt so personally attacked by a book ever in my life and it is a book that has enough in it to offend everyone that reads it.

I thought the story was going good. I think I gave the first volume like three stars.

It made my skin crawl. It made me extremely uncomfortable.

I think the story wasn't cohesive. I was really interested in seeing what Amanda was going to do with the Suicide Squad... but I just could not get past how awful the writing was for this and how incohesive the story was in this.

It was poorly written. It was poorly executed. You could have seen it from a mile away. It didn't make sense.

And even when the reveal happened at the end, it wasn't anything that really took me by surprise. The characters weren't extremely likable, and it just didn't work well.

It really got under my skin, and it was complete filth, and I don't like what he did.

And once again, like by the time everything came full circle and we figured out exactly what happened, I really just wasn't invested and I didn't care.
