it definitely had a Bridget Jones Diary feel to it but make it queer

View all videosit is one of my favorite romances of 2024 like hands down it is one of my favorite romances of 2024
I literally cannot stop thinking about this book because it's so good it was so good it was such a standout read
I was shockingly disappointed by it because it's two authors that I've read separately that I've really enjoyed and I'm shocked that I didn't like them together
it was one of those books where I just think it was super mid I wasn't super engaged but I wasn't like I'm hating my reading experience during this book
this is my least favorite Holly Jackson to date I was not a fan of this book
this book pissed me off so much and I think I was so generous by giving it two stars
even though it is not better than part of your world I do feel like it is still a dag on good book
if you like the book the war that saved my life I think that you will enjoy this one because they for me when I read this one I was like wow this really has the same like feel as the war that saved my life
one artwork wise is absolutely mind-blowingly beautiful it is one of the most beautiful picture books that I have read to date and it was an easy five stars
the oath is a it is a poly black romance that follows a woman whose husband has provided for her to find her happiness again through his three best friends at the same damn time it is the filthiest and most romantic thing that I've read in a long time
very good love this book I cannot recommend this book enough... it was just beautifully done I was so engaged while reading that book
it wasn't a bad book but it was a very mid reading experience for me... the first being that this book is just very surface level there isn't much substance to this book
it was not enjoyable... this was like easy to see from mile away... you couldn't root for a single person at all
I gave it four stars and on my reread I gave it two... I'm not going to do it y'all I'm not going to waste my time
I did like the character development of neev Nev is not a perfect character in fact they are a kleptomaniac which plays a role into the character development... there wasn't enough World building
this was just well written and covered a piece of Depression era history that I was not familiar with
I did end up giving this four stars what I really enjoyed about this book is that it shows the impacts of imperialism colonialism but in very manageable bite-size segments that are appropriate for a middle grade audience
which I do enjoy those
which actually worked I thought it was pretty cute
you have to have a very dry sense of humor to get that one I think but I really enjoyed that one
I gave this one three stars I did not feel like it was as strong as the first book... it was significantly slower than the first book and even the twist itself it didn't strike me as being as wo as the first book
this book had me cackling when I was at work... the miscommunication Trope I loathe miscommunication in Romance... however it was too much y'all
I did not enjoy it and that a lot of it was geared towards that plot twist at the end... this one was definitely not for me
